The Andrea Buggy Women’s Summer Cup and Summer Trophy competitions continued as Whitehaven AFC’s two teams look to make the finals.
Workington Diamonds and Whitehaven AFC Ladies Blue are in control of the Summer Cup as both recorded 5-1 wins against Newlaithes and Penrith AFC Ladies on Wednesday, July 19.
In the Summer Trophy Allerdale Wildcats recorded a 1-0 win against Vickerstown Ladies and in the Carlisle battle Stanwix Bees got the better of Carlisle United Ladies Development with a 2-3 win.
The top two in the Summer Cup face off as Xtreme Fitness Ladies host Whitehaven AFC Ladies Blue while Newlaithes head to Penrith AFC looking for their first points of the cup campaign.
Whitehaven AFC Ladies Yellow and Stanwix Bees will be looking to extend their lead at the top as Stanwix host Allerdale Wildcats and Whitehaven head to Vickerstown Ladies.
Carlisle United Ladies Development will be looking for their first points when they face Abbeytown Ladies.
All matches are a 7:15pm (19:15) kickoff.
