Two Men Charged After Cumbria Police Seized £40k Of Drugs

Two men have now been charged after Cumbria Police seized £40,000 worth of drugs.

Jhanzaib Gul, 50, and Joseph McCrory, 42, have been charged with drug supply offences after officers stopped a vehicle on the M6 near Kendal on July 22.

Officers seized during the stop 4kg of cannabis with a potential street value of £40,000.

Both appeared before Barrow’s magistrates’ court yesterday, July 24.

The 50-year-old, of Rylstone Gardens, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply Cannabis, he was released on conditional bail.

The 42-year-old, of Forber Grove, Bradford was charged with possession with intent to supply Cannabis and possession of Cannabis and was remanded in custody.
