Cumbria Cricket League: July Washout As Fixtures Abandoned

July has been a miserable month for the teams in the Cumbria Cricket League as the weather turned wet and wild leading to a third week of abandoned games.

The Premier Division table has not changed as the rain stopped play on Saturday, July 22.

Table toppers Furness should have welcomed Whitehaven while second placed Carlisle were to play Egremont and third placed Workington were due to host Wigton.

Cockermouth were going to make the short trip to Keswick while Millom were heading to Haverigg and Lindal Moor should have taken on Cleator.

The final weekends fixtures for July take place on Saturday 29 with Furness to travel to Cockermouth while Carlisle head to Cleator and Workington make the trip to Whitehaven.

Wigton take on Haverigg, Millom welcome Lindal Moor and Egremont face Keswick.

All the games in Division One fell on July 22 as Millom 2nd were to host Furness 2nd and Ulverston should have faced Workington 2nd.

Hawcoat Park would have travel to Cockermouth 2nd, Dalton were to welcome Kirkby in Furness and Vickerstown were to take on Seascale.

The final game of July on Saturday 29 has leaders Millom 2nd travel to Workington 2nd as joint leader Ulverston head to Kirkby in Furness.

Dalton make the trip to Seascale while Furness 2nd host Cockermouth and Hawcoat Park play Vickerstown.

There is no change to Division Two after the games on July 22 were abandoned with leaders Whitehaven 2nd due to host Dalton 2nd while second placed Haverigg 2nd were meant to head to Egremont 2nd.

Barrow were to play Ulverston 2nd and Cleator 2nd would have hosted Lindal Moor 2nd.

On July 29 Whitehaven 2nd head to Ulverston, Haverigg 2nd host Cleator 2nd, Egremont 2nd travel to Lindal Moor 2nd and Dalton 2nd face Barrow.
