National Conference Rugby League: Derby Win For Ellenborough As Egremont Rangers Go Second

The National Conference Leagues have hit the half way point with sides needing to string together a winning run.

The top of the Premier Division is close after the games on Saturday, June 10.

League leaders Hunslet ARLFC beat Wigan St Patricks 0-54 while Rochdale Mayfield ran out 50-24 winners against Thatto Heath Crusaders and Wath Brow Hornets sent Leigh Miners Rangers home with a 34-14 defeat.

York Acorn run of form continued with a 36-4 win against Kells, Siddal lost 16-26 to Lock Lane and rugby league fans were treated to a dominant performance from West Hull on the OURLEAGUE app as they beat Hull Dockers 64-18.

The battle at the top continues as Hunslet ARLFC take on York Acorn while Rochdale Mayfield travel to Lock Lane on Saturday, June 17.

Wath Brow Hornets host Siddal, West Hull head to Leigh Miners Rangers, Wigan St Patricks face Kells and Thatto Heath Crusaders welcome Hull Dockers.

Egremont Rangers now lead the charge to catch West Bowling in Division One after a 52-8 win over Pilkington Recs on June 10.

Heworth’s 14-44 win at Crosfields and Skirlaugh’s 16-18 victory at Oulton Raiders keep them joint second as all three look to take advantage of any slip up.

Moving further away from the bottom Clock Face Miners won 16-0 against Thornhill Trojans.

Just the four games on June 17, as Heworth face Ince Rose Bridge, Pilkington Recs play Oulton Raiders, Skirlaugh travel to Thornhill Trojans and Crosfields take on Clock Face Miners.

In the early game in Division Two East Leeds lost by two points to Milford in a 22-24 home defeat on Thursday, June 8.

On Saturday, June 10, leaders Waterhead Warriors beat Shaw Cross Sharks 24-28 while Dewsbury Moor Maroons won 44-8 at home to Barrow Island and Woolston Rovers had an unhappy trip to Myton Warriors as they were beaten 46-12.

Dewsbury Celtic beat Saddleworth Rangers 52-10 to move to within a point of third placed Woolston Rovers.

Woolston Rovers take on Dewsbury Moor Maroons as Normanton Knights face Waterhead Warriors and Shaw Cross Sharks travel to Saddleworth Rangers as the fight for promotion continues on June 17.

Barrow Island welcome Myton Warriors, East Leeds play Wigan St Judes and Dewsbury Celtic head to Milford.

In Division Three Ellenborough took the bragging rights with a 46-26 win over Millom in Cumbrian Derby on June 10.

Oldham St Annes kept pace with a 28-12 win over Bentley as Leigh East stay two points clear with a 38-24 win at home to Beverley.

Millom are at home to Bentley on June 17 as Leigh East travel to Hensingham while Ellenborough face Oldham St Annes.

Eastmoor Dragons take on Seaton Rangers and Drighlington make the trip to Beverley.
