National Conference Rugby League Returned With Wins For Cumbrian Sides

The National Conference Leagues return after reduced fixtures over May Bank Holiday with wins for all of Cumbria’s sides involved.

The top of the Premier Division continues to be tight after the round of games on on Saturday, June 3.

Points difference leaders Hunslet ARLFC beat West Hull 34-26 while Rochdale Mayfield 56-12 victory over York Acorn keeps them second and Wath Brow Hornets keep third place with a 4-36 win at Thatto Heath Crusaders.

A big 43-6 win for Hull Dockers over Wigan St Patricks move them out of the bottom three as Kells won 31-28 against Siddal and Leigh Miners Rangers closed the gap at the bottom with a 34-28 win at home to Lock Lane.

League leaders Hunslet ARLFC head to Wigan St Patricks on Saturday, June 10, while Rochdale Mayfield host Thatto Heath Crusaders and Wath Brow Hornets welcome Leigh Miners Rangers.

York Acorn face Kells, Siddal play Lock Lane and West Hull take on Hull Dockers on the OURLEAGUE app.

In Division One West Bowling continue their march towards the promotion with a 38-6 win over Ince Rose Bridge on June 3.

Second placed Stanningley picked up a 32-28 win against Pilkington Recs as Heworth beat Oulton Raiders 18-6.

Clock Face Miners were beaten 8-40 by Egremont Rangers as they moved into fourth as Skirlaugh won 24-14 against Crosfields and Thornhill Trojans beat Featherstone Lions 50-12.

The rest of the division can close the gap to West Bowling on June 10 as they are not playing.

Oulton Raiders take on Skirlaugh as Crosfields face Heworth, Egremont Rangers welcome Pilkington Recs and Clock Face Miners host Thornhill Trojans.

Division Two has a clear leaders as Waterhead Warriors won 24-14 against Dewsbury Moor Maroons on June 3.

Woolston Rovers lost 22-34 to Wigan St Judes as Shaw Cross Sharks move into third after a 32-36 win at Milford.

Barrow Island won by a point in a 23-22 game against Dewsbury Celtic and Normanton Knights beat East Leeds 32-10.

In this weeks early game East Leeds lost by two points to Milford in a 22-24 home defeat on Thursday, June 8.

On Saturday, June 10, leaders Waterhead Warriors travel to Shaw Cross Sharks while Dewsbury Moor Maroons host Barrow Island and Woolston Rovers head to Myton Warriors.

Wigan St Judes take on Normanton Knights and Dewsbury Celtic host Saddleworth Rangers.

Oldham St Annes have a chance to strike back as they face Bentley as Leigh East take on Beverley.
