A Cumbrian pub has confirmed it will continue to be ‘open as normal’ amid changes to the business’ management.
Following the news The Yellow Earl pub in Whitehaven has been under new management since late 2022, the business has confirmed on social media it will continue to operate as a bar and restaurant.
In a social media post, The Yellow Earl stated: “To confirm, we have been under new management since November 2022.
“We have had a lot of messages regarding bookings etc. The pub is OPEN as normal!”
The post goes on to state all events such as quizzes, bingo evenings and parties are still going forward.
However, all further bookings will be sorted by the new management and bar staff have no access to current bookings.
The Yellow Earl Ltd company, original managers of the establishment, ceased trading in November 2022 and it has now been place in liquidation, with Daryl Warwick and Mike Kienlen of Armstrong Watson would be named as joint liquidators.
