The National Conference Leagues continue to surprise as unbeaten starts fell and leaders dropped back into the chasing pack.

Hunslet ARLFC are the leaders of the Premier Division after a 66-0 win against Wigan St Patricks and West Hull suffered a surprise 18-20 defeat home on Saturday April 15 to Leigh Miners Rangers.

Cumbria’s duo fortunes differed as Kells dropped to sixth after a 40-12 defeat at Rochdale Mayfield and Wath Brow Hornets moved into third with a 2-15 victory at Siddal.

Further down the table Lock Lane moved above York Acorn with a 44-24 win and Thatto Heath Crusaders are up to fifth with a 16-38 win at Hull Dockers.

The rugby league continues on Saturday April 22 as Kells host league leaders Hunslet ARLFC as Siddal face second placed West Hull.

Third placed Wath Brow Hornets travel to Leigh Miners Rangers, fourth placed Rochdale Mayfield welcome Hull Dockers, York Acorn take on fifth placed Thatto Heath Crusaders and Wigan St Patricks play Lock Lane.

In Division One unbeaten West Bowling are two points clear after a 14-34 win at Egremont Rangers where they had been held to a 10-10 at half time on April 15.

The group of teams in second have broken with second placed Heworth beating Crosfields 32-18, third placed Oulton Raiders beat Pilkington Recs 22-16, Ince Rose Bridge lost 28-14 to Skirlaugh and Clock Face Miners moved up to fifth with a 56-16 win over Featherstone Lions.

Thornhill Trojans are still looking for their first points after 16-54 defeat to Stanningley.

West Bowing will look to continue their unbeaten run on April 22 at home to Stanningley while Heworth head to Egremont with former Junior Eurovision entry Cory Spedding the entertainment as Egremont continue their 11 live acts.

Second place can get more congested as Featherstone Lions take on Oulton Raiders, Ince Rose Bridge face Clock Face Miners and Pilkington Recs face Skirlaugh.

Crosfields welcome winless Thornhill Trojans.

In Division Two Woolston Rovers dropped to third after a 18-16 defeat to Dewsbury Moor Maroons who moved to second on April 15.

Barrow Island stay fourth after a 36-20 defeat at Myton Warriors, Saddleworth Rangers lost 18-24 to Dewsbury Celtic who are now level on points with them.

Milford picked up their first points with a 34-0 win East Leeds to move off the bottom of the table and Normanton Knights are up to eighth with a 38-22 win against Wigan St Judes.

Waterhead Warriors match with Shaw Cross Sharks was postponed.

After no match Waterhead Warriors travel to Myton Warriors on April 22 as fourth placed Barrow Island host second placed Dewsbury Moor Maroons and Saddleworth Rangers take on third placed Woolston Rovers.

Two of the botttom three meet as Wigan St Judes welcome East Leeds, Shaw Cross Sharks take on Normanton Knights while Milford will look to build on their first win when they head to Dewsbury Celtic.

In Division Three there are new leaders after Oldham St Annes’ 44-18 victory over Ellenborogh who dropped to fourth.

Eastmoor Dragons picked up their first win with a 30-24 home win over Leigh East while Millom are joint leaders with a 18-36 win at Drighlington.

Both Hensingham and Seaton Rangers lost on the road as Hensingham went down 22-6 at Bentley while Seaton Rangers went down 80-6 at Beverley.

On April 22 Ellenborough host Bentley as they look to head back to the top of the table if the joint leaders slip up as Leigh East take on the joint leaders Millom while Oldham St Annes face Beverley.

Hensingham welcome Drighlington and Seaton Rangers take on Eastmoor Dragons.
